by admin on December 7, 2011

For 2012, the Honda CR-V is one smaller SUV that is going to be something that attracts attention by all those that are looking for a new smaller SUV that is on the market. Compared to the previous model years, the person will find that the CR-V is one that is going to attract attention in a big way. One of the biggest things that people are pointing out is that the looks of the interior have increased greatly to the point that it makes the small SUV something that most people are finding to be at the top of their list of cars that they are willing to buy. However, there are still some professionals in the field that feel as though the company made just enough changes to make the CR-V look difference, but without really wanting to make these changes.

One of the things that people are pointing out as the high point of the CR-V is the fact that they are getting something that is going to be running much quieter than it did years ago. This is something that most people are excited about since they know that this was something in the past that made the CR-V something that people simply did not want to buy. In addition, people are liking the fact that the CR-V does have improved gas mileage of the last year’s model. For 2012, people will see an improvement of two more miles to the gallon to give the car the ability to get 31 miles on the highway and 23 miles in the city. Even the all-wheel drive version of the CR-V will be getting better gas mileage for this year.

In terms of power, the person will find that they are getting the four cylinders, 185 horsepower engine. The person will find that this is not much power when they are looking at the size of the CR-V. And this is one of the biggest complaints of those that are driving this, they want something that is going to offer more power than what they are getting. With that being said, another downfall of the vehicle seems to be the fact that the car is only offering one engine and not multiple options like so many of the competitors are doing. The same can be said of the transmission option that the person has, which really is not an option at all, as they are only getting a five speed automatic choice, other competitors are offering the six speed option, which is by far more fuel efficient.

One of the more appealing factors about the CR-V that so many people are excited about is the fact that they are getting something that is going to be performing at the top of the class in terms of safety. Honda expects that the small SUV is going to give them the best ratings that are possible with the CR-V. They are going to find that this is going to be one of the best selling points that the CR-V can offer the consumer. Add into the fact that they expect the selling price to stay around 21,000 to 30,000, and most people will find that this is an affordable solution for them.

When driving this car, the person will find that from previous years, the handling and actual driving of the vehicle are going to be something that has been greatly improved. The person will find that the new technology used in the CRV are going to offer tighter steering to get the SUV into places that years ago it would have been difficult to get into, and it also offers much better handling than it has years ago. Something that most people are going to appreciate once they get behind the wheel.

The CR-V is meant to come to the market on December 15 of 2011, and most people are asking whether this is a car that they should be considering or not? The answer is that it is still a dominant SUV that is on the market for people to consider. Though it may not stand up to highly to some of the more advanced competition, for the price and the brand loyalty that many people have, this is going to be the car for them to have. Most people will find that the improvements to this year’s version is something that they will love and it will make owning one of these something that they are going to cherish for years to come.
