2012 Acura RL review
The Acura RL has not changed much for the new 2012 year when the person looks at this on the inside or the outside. However, as most people state, it is what is on the inside that really counts, and in the case of the Acura RL, the person will find that the inside really refers to the technology advancements that the RL is going to see for the new year. The basic technology that people have come to know and love is still there and they are going to see that it has gotten a few improvements. For example, the Bluetooth Hands Free Link that is going to be able to allow the person to talk on their phone without distracting themselves from driving, something that also increases the safety measures that the car is offering. And they will also find that the RL is boasting an optional tech package that is going to give them such things as a navigation system, rear view cameras, climate control system, and the AcuraLink which is basically something that gives you updates on how traffic is at the time in that location, which is always useful for those that may be in a hurry to get home after a long hard day of work.
The standard engine for the RL is going to be a V6 engine with a five speed automatic transmission that will have SportShift, which will make the person feel as though they are driving something more sportier than luxury, and the transmission is also coming with overdrive. This is something that really makes the RL stand out against the crowd of other sedans that are on the market. The ride is one that is going to be smooth, and with the SportShift in place, the person will find that the ride is made even more smooth since they will not feel the transition between gears.
Those that look at the exterior are going to find that the car may not look that sporty, yet with the engine and the performance that it is giving, the person will find that it is indeed a sport sedan. The person will find that it can hold up to five people, though the trunk in the space is a bit lacking. Through, nothing that most people cannot deal with since they are getting so much more with the car.
In terms of gas mileage, the RL is not really that competitive when the person considers the other cars on the market. Since it is getting a combined mileage of around nineteen. However, for the cost of the car and the fact that the person is getting something that is both luxurious and sporty, they more times than not look over the not so fantastic gas mileage.
This car may be something that most people are not seeing since it has not changed that much in the past few years. However, it is still a car that is going to be high on the list for many people since they are getting much more than some simple sedan.
