2011 2012 BMW Z4 Roadster accessory
The 2011 2012 BMW Z4 comes in two trims, a two seat roadster or coupe. The roadster is equipped with a soft roof that can be operated manually and a rear window which has defrosters fitted on them. The roadster comes in two types, the 3.0i and 3.0si. In the former you will find 17 inch alloy tired, mirrors that are heated from outside, a system to monitor ones tire pressures, seats that adjustable in 6 different ways and can be adjusted by a passenger himself.
Additionally in the latter, one will get leather seats, a center armrest, an expensive music system. All these additional features are available on the 3.0i as options. Under the hood of the 3.0i one will find a 3.0 liter six cylinder engine, whereas the 3.0si has a higher capacity engine. Both engines give a mileage of 20 miles per gallon in city driving conditions and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.
The 2011 2012 BMW Z4 has a pleasant dashboard, where all the switches and knobs can be easily found, so as not to divert the driver's attention while driving, to search for the various knobs and switches. This is made easier as the instruments are white colored whereas the dashboard is black. The car has also been provided with an M steering wheel which is easy to handle for the driver. The interior of the Z4 like its seats, door panels, kneepads and arm rests are all made of leather.
Getting in and out of the Z4 may be a problem for tall drivers or passengers as one might have to bend to get in or out of the cars. Having said that, the seats are comfortable once seated inside and one can go for long drives unhindered. There's plenty of room for storage with or without lowering the roadsters top. The capacity of storage remains the same at 9 cubic feet. Though the boot capacity is large, capacity to keep small things is not great. There are pockets to store these knick knacks but one will have to move in his seat to get to these spaces.
The 2011 2012 BMW Z4 has all the safety features that one comes to expect from the house of BMW. It has been provided with airbags that are dual in nature, airbags to protect if the car is hit from the side and safety bags to protect the knees of the driver and passenger of the car. A new feature on the Z4 is a hill holder that prevents the vehicle from going downwards while stopped on a slope.
