2011 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, a smooth quiet ride over rough terrain.
The 2011 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe is a sports utility vehicle that can seat up to 9 passengers. The Tahoe is available in two versions, an entry level LS and a LT version. The Tahoe is available with either a rear wheel or a four wheel drive. The rear wheel drive Tahoe LS version is powered by a 4.8 Liter V8 engine that is rated at 295 horsepower. The other Tahoe models are powered by a 5.3 Liter V8 engine that is rated at 320 horsepower. The latter engine is optional with the rear wheel drive Tahoe LS version. The Tahoe is able to tow 8000 pounds.
The Tahoe LS version is equipped with 17 inch tires, a split seat in the front that has compartments built inside them to store luggage, the OnStar system, a satellite radio, accessories that are fully powered, a CD player that can also play MP3 music and a trip computer. The 2011 2012 Tahoe LT version is equipped with lights to combat fog, music system controls that are located on the steering wheel, bucket seats in the front that are equipped with a console and the OnStar system. The 2011 2012 Tahoe LT can also be equipped with three optional equipment packages, LT2, LT3 and LTZ.
The equipment available with the LT2 package included, seats made of leather, a CD player that can store 6 CDs, pedals that can be adjusted with the help of power and a system to assist the driver park the vehicle. If one gets the LT3 equipment package, there are seats in the front that are heated, drivers seat can be adjusted in 12 different ways and one gets a music system manufactured by Bose. The LTZ equipment package is available with 20 inch tires, the second row of seats is heated, a lift gate that is powered and wipers that can sense rain.
The 2011 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe is equipped with antilock disc brakes, a system to check the stability and make sure that the vehicle does not roll over and curtain air bags on the side for all passengers. The layout of the buttons inside the vehicle is easy to use and even its optional navigation system is easy to use. There is plenty of space in the back to store luggage. Its second row of seats can be folded using power, but one has to remove the third row by hand and is not easy.
