When it comes to small cars, there is probably not a car out there that is as popular as the Honda Accord. The person will find that this car is one that many people are buying and keeping for years, giving it the reputation as being one that is going to offer years of service to the person that has these cars. And for the 2012 year, the person will find that they are getting something that they are going to love to have as their car. In fact, the car is being ranked in the top ten mid size cars that the person could own. Those that are looking to make the 2012 Honda Accord their own are going to find that this comes in the sedan or the coupe version. With the sedan having four trim levels, while the coupe version will over three trim levels. When it comes to the sedan models, the person will find that the engine choices are inline four cylinder engine that gives 177 or 190 horsepower, depending on the version that the person ends up purchasing. While there is also the bigger V6 engine that is going to give the person around 271 horsepower. For the coupe version of the car, the person will find that the engine choice is an inline four engine that gives the 190 horsepower or the 271 horsepower V6 engine. In terms of a transmission, the person will find that they have the option of five or six speed automatic and manual transmissions within each trim level that is offered with the 2012 Accord.

So just how does it drive? Most people who have been able to get behind the wheel point out that around curves and put into obstacles, the car performs with the best of them. The person will find that the handling is rather well, with the person never feeling as if they are losing control of the car since it sticks to the road very well. The only problem that some people have pointed out is that the car does not feel its size when going around really tight turns. For many people this is a signal that some changes need to be made to the car in order to get it to where it should be.

The interior is something that the Accord has that outranks the competition that they are up against. Those that have set in this car will find that even tall adults have the room that is needed when they are in the backseat. The seats in the front are heated and leather trimmed, which is just another added luxury that people were not expecting when they sit in this car. Other interior features that are noteworthy is the fact that six speaker stereo system in place, comfortable seats and power locks and windows are standard. However, some people are quick to point out that the car does not have the bells and whistles that other cars have, which is what is making this car harder for some people to get behind one hundred percent.

Safety wise, the car is a winner for most people, as they are finding that the car has been given five out of five stars in crash test ratings, thus far just for the roll over rating since the car has not been tested all the way. However, the previous version which is almost identical to the 2012 version received fairly good ratings throughout all the tests that were conducted. The safety features that are present in the car include airbags, anti lock brakes, traction control, brake assist and the ability for the brake force to be evenly distributed to allow for quicker stopping.
