2008 Jaguar XJ Review
The 2008 Jaguar XJ comes as a 4-door luxury sedan, and a 2-door convertible that is available in five models, the entry level XJ8, the XJ8 L with a long wheelbase, the XJR, the Vanden Plas and the Super V8 models. All five models are powered by a 4.2 Liter V8 engine. While the first three models have a horsepower rating of 300, the last two models have engines rated at 400 horsepower. All five models are equipped with a six speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive.
The 2008 XJ8 and XJ8 L models are equipped with 18 inch tires, a suspension that adapts itself according to road conditions, Xenon headlights, a system to assist the driver park the vehicle, accessories that are fully powered, and Bluetooth connectivity, The front seats that can be adjusted in 16 different ways using power and pedals that can be adjusted with the help of power. The 2008 XJ Vanden Plas model is equipped with 19 inch tires, mirrors in the front that can be adjusted using power, a steering wheel that is heated, a navigation system, rugs made of lambs wool and an expensive music system manufactured by Alpine.
The XJR model is equipped with 20 inch tires that are rated as high performance, brakes that have been upgraded, side mirrors that can be folded using power, a navigation system and an expensive music system manufactured by Alpine. The 2008 XJ Super V8 model is equipped with the same equipment as that of the XJR model but adds brakes that are rated as high performance and a DVD system in the back.
The 2008 Jaguar XJ is equipped with air bags in the side for those seated in the front, a system to control stability, curtain airbags that run the entire length of the vehicle and anti-lock brakes. The interior of the vehicle has a nice feel about it and it is equipped with all the latest features that makes the ride of the passengers comfortable.
