2008 MazdaSpeed Protege accessory review
The 2008 Mazda Mazdaspeed comes as a hatchback that has four doors. The vehicle comes in two models, Sport and Grand Touring. Both models derive their power from a 2.3 Liter Turbocharged engine that has four cylinders and is rated at 263 horsepower and 280 lb feet of torque. Both models are equipped with a six speed manual transmission. The vehicle can sprint to a speed of 60 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds. The fuel economy ratings of the MazdaSpeed are 18 miles per gallon on city roads and 26 miles per gallon on highways. The engine of the Hatchback is a bit noisy when being driven on highways and not all that quiet when being driven slowly on city roads. The closest competitors of The Mazdaspeed are Honda Civic Si sedan, Mini Cooper S, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, Subaru WRX and Volkswagen GTI.
The 2008 Mazdaspeed Sport model is equipped with 18 inch tires, a spoiler for the roof, sport seats, a steering wheel with tilt, a music system with a CD player. The Mazdaspeed Grand Touring model is equipped with a Bose Music system and a CD player located in the dashboard, LED lights in the back, leather bolsters for the seats, a computer and a system to deter thieves. The Mazdaspeed is equipped with anti lock brakes, a stability control system, and air bags in the side for those seated in the front and curtain air bags that run the entire side of the vehicle.
