2008 Mini Cooper S dealer, review, pictures
A semi-revival of a classic favorite, the 2008 Mini Cooper is one of the most interesting looking cars on the road today. This is the reason Mini Cooper dealers have been kept hopping busy filling orders for this hot little sport sedan. The brainchild of auto designer Frank Stephenson, the Mini offers performance and style in a compact package that's a natural alternative to the giant, gas-guzzling SUVs of today. The new 2008 Mini Cooper comes in two models - the barebones Cooper, and the more sophisticated Cooper S. We have been excitedly preparing our 2008 Mini Cooper review in response to the remarkable renewed interest this automobile has created. It only seems appropriate that we also unveil a Mini Cooper picture that reveals the changes for 2008. This is the best site for other 2008 Mini pictures and info as well, so please look around!
For a tiny car, the Mini Cooper packs quite a punch. The basic Cooper model comes standard with a 1.6-liter, transverse 4-cylinder, supercharged engines that produces 115 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and delivers 110 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,500 rpm. The Mini Cooper S comes standard with a 1.6-liter, transverse 4-cylinder, supercharged engines that produces 163 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and delivers 155 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,000 rpm. We offer additional Mini Cooper specs, too. For starters, both vehicles boast six-speed manual transmissions that deliver fluid and aggressive shifting. The cars also offer 16-inch alloy tires with standard run-flat tires, which provide unbelievable grip and very believable conscience. Finally, of course, there's the overall 2008 Mini Cooper performance - with a top speed of 124 mph, the car can go from zero to sixty in less than nine seconds. Truly unbelievable.
