American Racing 'Zine - Devoted primarily to Daytona and NASCAR, this simple but well-planned race site includes track happenings, driver interviews, and a nice collection of racing photos.
Andretti Home Page - Meet Mario, Michael and Jeff. Learn more about the talented trio or peruse the Andretti brand of race goodies. Barbie's here, too. Barbie? See for yourself.
Atlas Team One - If it's happening in F1 it happens here, and that includes live lap timing on practice and race days. Highly opinionated columns, not always well-written but authoritative.
Championship Auto Racing Teams - The real Indy car racers, though not called that anymore. CART's official Web site. News, standings, schedules, driver profiles, and race schedules.
First Contact - Devoted to the life of Gilles Villeneuve, late father of the current World Champion and one of Ferrari's favorites. Also lets you join F1 Ring, an Internet enthusiast's club.
Indy - The World Driving Championship is coming to the Indianapolis Speedway in 2000. This is the official site, complete with photos of the new facilities. Good place to keep up to date.
Indy Photos - Wonderful photography of Indy and Champ cars past and present from a variety of professional sources. Yours to download and admire.
Laguna Seca Raceway - Located near Monterey, CA, one of America's great road racing circuits and home of a FedEx champ stop as well as the best vintage race weekend anywhere.
LeMans - UK Web site for one of the world's greatest, most historic motor races, the 24 hours of LeMans. If you haven't been there, this site will at least get you closer to the action.
Molson Indy Toronto - Official site of the first of two Canadian stops in the FedEx Champ Car series. Offers schedules, tickets, news of on-and-off track activities. Lakefront race one of the best.
Molson Indy Vancouver - The big news is an all-new track with faster speeds, better views. Check here for maps, events, seat locations. Scenery makes it the Monaco of Champ Car racing
Goracing - Colorful, nicely-designed, this easy-to-scan site is loaded with news and entertaining features. Covers the broad scope of motor racing.
Motorsport - Essentially an archive of motor racing news stories, listed by date. As the name suggests, it gives equal time to all leading motorsports series.
Motor Sports Hall of Fame - Honors inductees from several racing categories, including aircraft and power boats. Located in Novi, Michigan, but for you the cars and the stars are just a click away.
NASCAR Insider - Steve McCormick's a long-time fan. He takes you inside the racing scene with opinion, testing schedules, and news updates on this About.com race site.
North American Motorsports Pages - Relatively straightforward site from a race enthusiast with an interest in all forms of motorsport in North America. A good place to find your favorite track or get in touch with a branch of the sport.
Racing Boards - What we need is a site that gets into all aspects of motorsport and provides comprehensive coverage. Which RacingBoards does, and does well.
RacingLines.com - Finally, a quality site that covers every form of international motorsport; twenty-two series altogether. Includes radio, interactive calendar, forums, editorial direct from trackside.
RacingSchools.com - To be a great racer you need instruction from the pros. Schools are listed by location and type. Loads of info, plus features and chat, make this a most helpful site.
On Track Online - Race mag's Web site offers coverage of F-1, CART, sports cars, Indy Lites, F3000. Brief backgrounds on drivers, races, make this pit stop quick but good.
Players Racing - Actually two sites in one: Canadian and US. The former includes the Players Atlantic team, the latter concentrates on the Forsythe Champ Car team.
RaceAudio.Com - Live, 2-way simulcasts between crew and driver during races, with several cars available for listening. Archives, too, from World of Outlaws and IRL races.
Racecar.co - An outstanding daily racing site in the UK, covering F1 and most forms of international racing and rallying. Terrific image resource, features up-to-the-minute news.
RaceLink Motorsports - CART, F1, NASCAR and IRL are the focus. Excellent news coverage, schedules, even an art gallery make Racelink an entertaining, informative pit stop.
Speedcenter - An unofficial, alternative CART site, can be a little slow in updating but the commentary is less biased and it has an inspired picture gallery.
Speedvision - The fastest channel on television is not always the quickest loading but does provide daily and weekly schedules, which local TV listings often ignore.
The Indianapolis Speedway - Anything I might say about the great 500-mile race would be superfluous, except that I wish CART could come back. Here you'll find Speedway history, news, and event information.
VintageKarts - Did you know that Lake Speed and Ayrton Senna raced each other in karts? A fun site for the early kart fan.
Racecar - Invaluable resource for UK enthusiasts, features an audio library, teams, race reports, and racing-related businesses.
