The 2010 Saab 93 Convertible is a two door sports coupe. The convertible is available in two models, the 2.0T and the Aero. The 2.0T model is powered by a turbocharged four cylinder 2.0 Liter engine that is rated at 210 horsepower. The Aero Model is powered by a 2.8 Liter V 6 engine that is rated at 255 horsepower. The 2.0T model is equipped with a five speed manual transmission; while a five speed automatic transmission is optional. The Aero model is equipped with a six speed manual transmission though a five speed automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted shift paddles is optional on the model.
The 2010 93 Convertible 2.0T model is equipped with automatic climate control, a cruise control system, powered windows, locks on doors and mirrors, a music system that is rated at 150 watts and has 7 speakers, drivers seat that has memory and fog lights in the front. The 2010 93 Convertible Aero model is equipped with 17 inch tires, A system to monitor tire pressure, a Sport exhaust; a music system that is rated at 300 watts 13 speakers and seats that are leather faced. The 93 Convertible is equipped with anti-lock disc brakes, a traction control system, head restraints and airbags in the side for those seated in the front. The vehicle is also equipped with pop up roll bars which are located behind the back seat headrests, which deploy automatically if the car starts to roll over.
The interior of the 2010 Saab 93 Convertible is simple and the gauges on its panel are arranged in an easy to see layout. Though its buttons and switches are smaller then in other vehicles, they are placed in reaching distance of the driver. It has comfortable front seats which are comfortable to seat in even when the vehicle is being driven at a fast clip. Passengers have no problem of getting in or out of the front seat. Having said that there's not plenty of leg room at the back and entry and exit is difficult. The roof of the vehicle has been blended beautifully with its body and the roof has a glass window at the back.
