2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STi performance part review
The 2010 Subaru Impreza comes available as a small sedan or hatchback. The Impreza is available in three models, 2.5i, Outback Sport and WRX. The 2.5i and Outback Sport models are powered by a four cylinder 2.5 Liter engine that is rated at rated at 170 horsepower and 170 pound feet of torque. The WRX is powered by a turbocharged four cylinder 2.5 Liter engine that is rated at rated at 224 horsepower and 226 pound feet of torque. All three models are equipped with a five speed manual transmission. The WRX Hatchback model achieved a speed of 60 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds. The fuel economy ratings of the 2.5i and Outback Sport are 20 miles per gallon on city streets and 27 miles per gallon highway. The 2010 Impreza 2.5i model is equipped with 16 inch tires, air conditioning, a CD/MP3 player, a cruise control system and powered accessories. If one takes this model with a Premium package, one gets an expensive music system, music controls located on the steering wheel and a navigation system. The Impreza Outback Sport model is equipped with 17 inch tires, a two-tone exterior, outside mirrors that are heated, front seats that re heated and a de-icer for the windshield. The Impreza WRX model is equipped with 17 inch tires, a suspension that is sports tuned, automatic climate control and a steering wheel that has tilt/telescoping. The Impreza is equipped with anti-lock brakes, curtain airbags in the side and drum brakes at the back.
