2008 Suzuki Aerio SX review
An entry-level subcompact, the 2008 Suzuki Aerio, comes as a sedan or wagon. This year Aerio gets optional all-wheel-drive. It is quite a bargain to offer AWD in this class. With one of the most powerful standard engines in the subcompact class, Aerio comes as a 4-dr sedan and 4-DR wagon, both with a 145-hp 4 cylinder engines. Manual transmission is standard and automatic is available also. Aerio's sedan offers two trim levels, S and uplevel GS The wagon comes with its own SX trim. Front-wheel drive is standard and every Aerio comes with air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, tilt steering wheel, CD player, and split folding rear seats. The 2008 Suzuki Aerio SX offers exciting design with crisp lines and sporty aerodynamic treatments that help disguise the boxy dimensions characteristic of most hatchbacks. The 2008 Aerio's cabin is fairly quiet for a small car, due to added liquid-filled mounts for the engine and insulation around the passenger compartment.
Suzuki also offers an Aerio sedan derived from the same chassis, powertrain, mechanical gear, and essential equipment as the hatchback. The Aerio SX sedan comes in two trim packages, base model Aerio S and the deluxe Aerio GS, which has equipment that matches the sole hatchback, Aerio SX. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, power steering, foglamps, power mirrors, tilting steering wheel, a tachometer, rear window defroster, intermittent wipers, and an AM-FM stereo kit with CD player and six speakers on all three models. The Aerio SX also gets cruise control, a keyless remote entry system, rear window wiper/washer, the rear spoiler, and a chrome tip on the exhaust pipe.
