2008 Toyota Sequoia TRD bargain review
The 2008 Toyota Sequoia is a full sized sports utility vehicle that seats eight passengers. It is available in two models, SR5 and Limited. The Sequoia is powered by a 4.7 Liter V8 engine that is rated at 273 horsepower and 314 pound-feet of torque. It is equipped with a five speed automatic transmission. The Sequoia from the year 2008 has been provided with an optional 5.7 Liter V8 engine which is rated at 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. The 5.7 Liter engine is equipped with a six speed automatic transmission. Both engines provide for a smooth and quiet drive whether one is riding it on city streets/highways or on rough dirt tracks. The fuel economy ratings of the Toyota Sequoia are 15 miles per gallon on city streets and 18 miles per gallon highway.
The 2008 Sequoia model has received a new styling. It is now longer, taller and wider then the previous year, which provides it with more room to store baggage or groceries. It has new headlights and side mirrors that can be retracted. The vehicle has been equipped with independent suspension in both the front and the back. This gives the passengers an unmatched ride, stability and that they will feel more refreshed when after long drives. The 2008 Sequoia's eight seats can comfortably seat tall passengers. Front seats have powered lumbar support, while second row of seats is split and can be folded flat to allow easy access for passengers to the third row of seats.
